Thomas van Rompay is an Associate Professor in Design for Health and Wellbeing at the University of Twente (UT), where he integrates cognitive psychology with environmental design. His current research program investigates the therapeutic influences of green spaces and natural stimuli on health and mental wellbeing, with a core focus on vulnerable populations, including older adults with dementia and young people with mental health issues.
