Short CV:
Raphael Goldstein is Deputy Director at Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), the Federal Republic of Germany’s agency for foreign trade and inward investment. Active in the hydrogen field since 2007, he drives investment projects that advance the decarbonization and resilience of the chemical, refinery, and metal industries. He also serves as Leader of GTAI´s Hydrogen Project Group.
His work focuses on carbon‑smart solutions, hydrogen‑ready infrastructures, and resilient industrial value chains — spanning fossil, circular (chemical recycling and CO₂), and green molecules. He has contributed to several CEN/CENELEC working groups (Hydrogen, Storage, Blockchain) within the Sector Forum Energy Management and has served as a project evaluator for sustainable and circular manufacturing.
