Fred van Schoonhoven (1970) studied computer science and business administration and later became an innovation expert in the field of sustainability. In 2018, he started developing BioPanel, a 100% biobased and circular panel material to replace petroleum-based panels. With a volume of 40,000 m2 per year, BioPanel has proven itself in practice. At BioPanel, he is responsible for the technical further development of BioPanel. Fred has an excellent network in the research world of BioBased materials and a lot of knowledge about migrating to biobased applications. He is a regular speaker to talk about his experiences.
